Holding Movements 4 : The fields of production.

Currently I am continuing to use the small working farm where I live and work, and the immediate surrounding locale as a research site: exploring ways to merge life and activity on the farm more closely with my art practice. Texts by thinkers such as Emily Brady, Michel de Certeau, Julia Kristeva, Pierre Bordieu, & Yuriko Saito, scores by Kaprow & Cage, the poems of Norman MacCaig, my neighbours stories and my own memories are some of criss-crossing paths I am following through the fields.

St Michael's Way

Since 2013 I have been researching the
St Michael's Way footpath in Cornwall, a pilrgim path & the only long distance footpath in UK to be designated a European Cultural Rouite.
I curated a group exhibition which opened in London Apriil 2016 and then travelled to Cornwall, signalling the start of a programme of events & activity along the path over the summer months of 2016 and beyond.

Over the winter of 2017 I will be producing a 'companion' to the walk which will be lused as a guide for a pubic walk along the path in the spring of 2108. Date TBC.
